Public
involvement, beginning as early as possible and continuing throughout the
planning process, is essential for creating a successful project. You may
know important information or have a different perspective regarding the issues
that are being discussed and studied. You may also gain a
clearer vision of the decision making process and how you can have an impact.
This is why it is so important for you to be involved. The objective of the
public involvement process is to work directly with the interested public to
ensure that their issues and concerns are consistently understood and
considered. We will be reaching out in a
number of different ways, including e-mail updates, newsletters, public meetings
and community council meetings.
